Casta Dance Bar in Tel-Aviv caters to the LGBTQ+ community and operates under the slogan: Sweet, Art, House. The bar is located in the heart of Tel-Aviv, on Ahad Ha’am Street, near the bustling Rothschild Boulevard. It offers a variety of high-quality alcoholic beverages, with a particular focus on cocktails and colorful desserts in different flavors.
The bar is named after its popular dessert, “Casta,” an Italian-Sicilian ice cream cake. There is a theory that the name derives from the Italian word “Casa” (home), referring to the dessert’s layered structure, with different flavors and colors of ice cream separated by layers of waffle.
The branding design is inspired by Israeli artist Yaacov Agam, chosen due to his deep connection to modern and unique Tel-Aviv design. Agam gained international recognition as one of the founders of the kinetic art movement. His work is celebrated for its innovation and unconventional techniques, with central motifs of movement, development, and the use of optical illusion across four dimensions—where time serves as the fourth dimension. Agam’s creations are seen as expressions of freedom, creativity, and breaking conventions, involving the viewer and their consciousness as integral parts of the art. Casta positions itself as a colorful and vibrant space, with prominent neon design that immerses visitors in a dazzling, contemporary party atmosphere, perfectly embodying the spirit of Tel-Aviv. The photographic language of the brand was developed using AI, adding a modern and innovative visual layer to the branding.
